A Journey into Tuscany

When creating Italia Wine Cellars, I knew exactly which wineries I could trust to deliver outstanding quality for British customers, without compromising on value. For Bolgheri, I chose Donne Fittipaldi’s Bolgheri DOC Classico. For Morellino di Scansano, Poggio Argentiera was a natural choice, both producers reflecting authenticity and passion.
The most difficult decision, however, was Tuscany itself, the birthplace of Chianti. A wine famous across the globe, yet often undervalued. My goal was clear: to find a winery that truly represents its origins, full of character, fairly priced, and worthy of its name.
It was the right path. But I knew I had to go further. I wanted to bring together a collection of Italian wines that not only offers variety, but consistently delivers quality.
Donne Fittipaldi and Poggio Argentiera gave me confidence, but to truly stand out, I needed something special. A discovery that would earn trust and build credibility in the British market.
These wines form the foundation of our collection, but we didn’t stop there. We continue to search for exceptional Italian wines that combine character, value, and reliability.
